FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENT

Functional movements are movement patterns we use every day while interacting with our world. The ability to squat, reach, push, pull, lunge, twist, and bend is vital to a long and healthy life free from pain and injury. Your functional movement program will be built according to how well you can accomplish these movement patterns. As your movements improve, so will your quality of life. My focus will always be on pushing you forward while enhancing your stability, mobility and strength. 

INJURY PREVENTION

Injuries can happen on the playing field or at home and are often the consequence of muscle imbalances. By evaluating how you run, how you jump, how you throw or how you walk I can identify deficient movement patterns that may increase your risk of injury. I am not only interested in keeping athletes in the game, but I am also in fall prevention in older individuals. Your injury prevention program will find your weakness and turn it into strength allowing you to live an active pain and injury free life.
